Are you finding yourself discouraged?

This is has been a very strange year, from Covid-19 to protest and riots to an election.  Some may feel overwhelmed by it all or frustrated that we have yet to return to the way it was in the past.  Most are ready for it all to end, yet that is not going to happen right now. I am going to give you some suggestions to help you along the way.

There are things you can do to improve feeling isolated, frustrated, even overwhelmed.  The first is look around you; what is going well for you?  Make a list.  The next is find ways to connect with others: send cards or letters or e-mails or call people on the phone, Face Time. This will help you but also the one who receives the correspondence.  That is the start; but the most important thing you can do is to start making a list of 2 to 5 things you are grateful for that day. Examples :  Like I wasn’t in a car accident, I am healthy, I have food to eat, I have shelter, I have friends, I have a job, I have a computer, I can write, I have a place to rest, I saw a beautiful bird-animal-cloud-sunset-sunrise, I have my faith, there is endless things you could list I just gave a few,  but here is one more , I have indoor plumbing – for in my grand parents time they had to go to the outhouse.  Try not to repeat the same things.  As you get use to writing your list it will get easier.  The last is to take my 30 Day Challenge, just comment that you would like to try my 30 Day Challenge and I will send you and email telling you all about it.
